Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress from Canada. She was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin began her acting debut as Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, and was the 2nd youngest recipient to win an award within Oscar history. Paquin had a small role in the 1997 TV movie adaptation of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). In addition, she portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
