Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Zoe was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on the 19th of June, 1978. Her father is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her parents raised their daughter at home in Queens, New York. Her family and she went to Dominican Republic at the age of 10, where they'd be for seven years. Zoe began to develop a fascination for dance performance while living within the Republic of Dominicana.
