Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of abilities, which included the ability perform, direct, produce, write plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father comes from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's first memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's her job.
